Biography
Bill Koschak is a senior business leader with nearly 35 years of experience in corporate finance scaling businesses, raising capital, managing forecasting and strategic modeling, allocating capital among larger businesses, directing merger and acquisition activities, and overseeing accounting, reporting, and internal controls.
Bill has been both a corporate and business unit CFO for publicly traded and private equity-owned companies. In addition, he has served as the general manager of a $600 million revenue medical device business. Prior to becoming a CFO, Bill oversaw all accounting activity for a Fortune 250 global business and was previously a KPMG audit partner.
In July 2024 Bill co-founded Everest Advisors, which seeks to become the preeminent C-suite advisory firm in the U.S., focusing on high-performing, experienced, and team-oriented leaders. In addition to client responsibilities, Bill leads the recruitment of talented professionals for Everest, focuses on developing relationships with trusted business advisors, and creates awareness of the firm’s capabilities in the marketplace.
Bill’s previous client engagements include serving as a fractional CFO for organizations in several industries and has also led the implementation of internal control infrastructures, evaluated finance team structures and capabilities, implemented financial systems, led capital raising activities, and addressed accounting matters.
Bill holds a BA in Accounting, Summa Cum Laude, from Augsburg University, and a Board Cybersecurity Certification from BoardProspects. He brings extensive boardroom experience through leadership roles, client engagements, and board service. He currently serves on two corporate boards and on the board of Second Harvest Food Bank of Orange County, California.
