Biography
Heather Malloy is an accomplished finance and operations executive recognized for her expertise in private equity, venture capital, and investment management. With a proven track record leading fund operations, financial structuring, and strategic growth initiatives, she has optimized processes and driven performance for top investment firms in global markets.
As the founder of Riva Ridge Management, LLC, she delivered fractional and interim CFO/COO services to private equity and venture capital firms. Her recent work includes spearheading fund spin-outs, system integrations, fund structuring, tax planning, and enhancing investor communications. Heather manages capital calls and distributions, annual audits, compliance reporting, and financial modeling, ensuring operational excellence and firm readiness for long-term success.
Previously, as COO and CFO of Strattam Capital, Heather built the firm’s finance and operational infrastructure from the ground up. She played a key role in deal structuring, tax optimization, and executed more than 16 debt financings ranging from $8 million to $80 million. She developed valuation methodologies, chaired the valuation committee, and led all facets of fund operations and investor relations.
Her earlier career includes leadership roles at Société Générale, where she managed a $300 million principal investments program and co-headed a credit arbitrage fund, and at Bear Stearns, where she was Global Head of Alternative Fund Product Management and played a key role in multi-firm asset management acquisitions.
Heather holds a B.A. from the University of Wisconsin at Madison and is fluent in English, French, and Spanish. She is the founder of Violet AI, Inc., serves on advisory boards for multiple investment firms, and mentors startups through TechStars in Austin, TX.
