His background spans CFO, Chief Accounting Officer, and Controller leadership roles across private, investor-backed, and publicly traded company environments. Josh is known for bringing structure and clarity to fast-moving organizations, translating complex financial requirements into practical, scalable operations that support executive and board-level decision-making.
As a Managing Director with Everest Advisors, Josh provides hands-on financial and accounting advisory services to companies facing increased operational and reporting demands. He partners closely with founders, CEOs, and leadership teams, serving as a fractional CFO, Chief Accounting Officer, or Controller depending on client needs. His work focuses on stabilizing and professionalizing finance functions through improved close discipline, stronger internal controls, enhanced financial transparency, and reliable, decision-ready reporting.
Prior to joining Everest, Josh spent over seven years with NOW CFO, where he advanced to Market President for the Orange County and Long Beach regions while maintaining an active senior advisory practice. During his tenure, he played a key role in scaling the firm through sustained organic growth and a private equity acquisition, contributing to revenue expansion from approximately $30–40 million to over $60 million.
Josh holds a B.A. in Political Science and Pre-Law from the University of Missouri–Kansas City and is a Certified Management Accountant (CMA). He has led accounting and finance transformations across a wide range of organizations, including system implementations and audit readiness initiatives. His work often involves stepping into complex or underdeveloped environments and establishing scalable, well-governed finance functions that support growth and leadership decision-making.
