Joshua Brein is a finance professional specializing in financial modeling and analysis for middle-market companies. Joshua works closely with senior executives and managing directors in M&A advisory, FP&A, and business valuation by delivering rigorous data-driven insights that drive better decision-making and help companies navigate growth, restructuring, and transaction initiatives.

As an analyst at Everest Advisors, Joshua is responsible for building and refining financial models that support internal business strategy and transaction mandates. In FP&A, he works with client executives to model scenarios and analyze performance, translating data or proforma into insights that guide capital allocation. In M&A advisory, he manages data rooms, prepares comprehensive investor materials (CIPs, due diligence), and supports valuation readiness.

Previously, he served as a Financial Analyst with Argo Consulting and Marconi Capital, supporting sell-side and financing engagements ranging from $5MM to $35MM. His work spanned consumer products, manufacturing, and med tech, including due diligence and investor readiness for a UK-based audiology firm pursuing venture debt financing.

Earlier in his career, Joshua gained hands-on experience in credit analysis, market research, and sales operations through internships at Rosenthal & Rosenthal, Averisource, and Equinox—building a foundation in financial discipline, collaboration, and client service excellence.

Joshua earned his Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Arizona’s Eller College of Management. He continues to build his expertise in financial modeling, valuation, and business intelligence tools such as Tableau and PitchBook, and is dedicated to developing as a trusted advisor who bridges financial data and strategic vision.
