Biography
Mary Kittrelle is a seasoned CFO and strategic finance executive with more than 20 years of experience leading financial, operational, legal, and HR functions across educational publishing, manufacturing, hospitality, and professional services. Known for her pragmatic leadership and analytical rigor, she excels at guiding companies through periods of growth, acquisition integration, and system transformation.
At Everest Advisors, Mary delivers high-impact financial leadership, specializing in financial modeling, operational strategy, and risk management. She partners with organizational leaders to establish robust financial frameworks, navigate transitions, and drive sustainable growth.
Mary has served as CFO for Psudo, Inc. and Teacher Created Materials. At Teacher Created Materials, she played a pivotal role in post-acquisition integration, led the implementation of NetSuite Financials, and directed budgeting for a $100M+ multi-department operation, as well as overseeing all quarterly Board reporting.
At Psudo, she rebuilt the financial model to support Series A fundraising and overhauled internal controls, significantly reducing risk through enhanced insurance coverage. As principal of Number Knowledge LLC, she has helped clients in restaurant, recycling, and nonprofit sectors improve cash flow visibility, streamline reporting, and strengthen operations.
Earlier in her career, Mary was an auditor at Arthur Andersen and held corporate finance and FP&A roles at Universal Studios and Avery Dennison, including supporting the integration of a $200M acquisition.
She holds an MBA from UCLA Anderson School of Management and a B.S. in Accounting from San Diego State University and is a licensed CPA. Mary’s leadership is grounded in collaboration, transparency, and a commitment to financial clarity and operational excellence.
