Biography

Chad Barber is a corporate transformation and value creation leader with more than 15 years of experience driving financial performance improvement, operational rigor, and enterprise execution across private equity–backed and Fortune 500 organizations, including Veritiv, JM Family Enterprises ($20B Toyota distributor), and Deloitte Consulting. His background sits at the intersection of strategy, finance, and operations, where he helps leadership teams translate complex transformation objectives into measurable EBITDA growth, cash flow improvement, and sustained performance discipline.

As a Managing Director with Everest Advisors, Chad partners with private equity sponsors, boards, and executive leadership teams to lead enterprise transformation focused on financial performance improvement. He advises clients on FP&A modernization, post-merger integration, transformation PMO design, and cash flow optimization, working closely with CFOs and operating leaders to establish governance, KPI frameworks, and executive cadence that drive accountability and results.

Prior to joining Everest, Chad held senior transformation and advisory roles across private equity–backed and large enterprise environments. He led enterprise-wide value creation programs generating tens of millions of dollars in EBITDA uplift through pricing optimization, SG&A reduction, procurement transformation, and operating model redesign, and unlocked more than $200 million in free cash flow through disciplined working capital initiatives spanning inventory, receivables, and payables.

Earlier in his career, Chad held senior leadership roles at global organizations such as PwC, where he led strategy, finance, and large-scale transformation initiatives for multibillion-dollar organizations, directing complex portfolios that improved execution velocity, margin performance, and cross-functional alignment.

Chad holds an MBA in Strategy, Finance, and Marketing from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a BBA in Finance and Accounting from Emory University. He is recognized for bringing structure, clarity, and momentum to complex transformation environments, combining investor-level financial rigor with practical operational insight to deliver lasting value.
