Biography

Craig Taggart is a capital markets and investment executive with more than 20 years of experience spanning investment banking, venture capital, private equity, mergers & acquisitions, and wealth management across the technology, healthcare, and financial services sectors. Known for combining strategic insight with operational execution, Craig has advised growth-stage and middle-market companies on capital strategy, financial leadership, and complex transactions.

As a Managing Director at Everest Advisors, Craig serves as a fractional CFO and capital markets advisor, partnering closely with founders, CEOs, and leadership teams to strengthen financial operations, structure transactions, and position businesses for scalable growth. He brings deep expertise in capital formation, investor relations, and deal structuring, helping companies secure funding while building investor-ready organizations.

Craig serves as a Venture Partner at Qubits Ventures, a $100 million fund focused on quantum computing, AI, and next-generation infrastructure. Throughout his career, he has worked with more than 150 founders and leadership teams across healthcare, technology, and financial services, generating over $15 million in additional revenue for client companies through strategic process optimization and operational improvements. His prior experience includes leadership roles at BCC Capital Partners, where he advised on middle-market M&A transactions, and UBS Wealth Management, where he co-managed over $2.3 billion in assets.

Craig earned his MBA in Finance from San Diego State University, holds a BA in Organizational Psychology from California State University Northridge, and completed the Certified M&A Advisor Program at Pepperdine Graziadio Business School. 

He is a trusted partner to founders and executives navigating growth—helping them raise capital, structure deals, and build businesses that attract investors, clients, and talent. Beyond his professional work, Craig serves as a board member of the 475th Fighter Group Historical Foundation and coaches youth athletics through the Orange County YMCA.
