Angela Kabana is an accomplished finance and human resources executive with a strong track record of leading financial turnarounds, driving organizational transformation, and supporting high-growth technology ventures. Her expertise spans generative AI, cybersecurity, health tech, and venture-backed startups, with a focus on aligning financial strategy with workforce performance to build scalable, sustainable businesses.

As CFO of Cobalt Robotics, Angela stabilized the company’s financial position with just one month of runway. She implemented cost-saving initiatives that reduced expenses by 25%, revamped accounts receivable processes to cut DSOs to under 45 days, and improved cash flow by $750K per month—setting the stage for a successful acquisition.

At Welldoc, she led both finance and HR, helped secure critical funding, and drove the company’s recognition as a Fortune Top 50 Small and Medium Workplace in Healthcare, earning a 95% employee satisfaction rating—36 points above industry average.

Previously, Angela scaled U.S. operations at WMC Global, growing revenue from $2M to $8M in the AI-driven cybersecurity sector. Her work with major telecom clients like AT&T, T-Mobile, and Sprint, along with implementation of a lean invoicing system, dramatically shortened payment cycles and strengthened cash management across business units.

Angela holds an Honors bachelor’s degree in business science from the University of Cape Town and is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (UK CPA Qualification). She is also a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), combining deep financial expertise with workforce strategy to drive long-term business success.
