Jan Berger is a seasoned finance, treasury, and risk management executive with decades of leadership experience across publicly traded and privately held organizations. He has held corporate officer roles at NYSE- and NASDAQ-listed companies, successfully executing complex treasury, capital market and risk management solutions across organizations of all sizes—from emerging and middle-market companies to Fortune 500 enterprises. Jan is known for operating at the board, executive and operating level, translating complex financial, liquidity, and risk considerations into disciplined strategies that support resilience, earnings improvement, and long-term enterprise value.​

As a Managing Director with Everest Advisors, Jan advises boards, CEOs, and senior leadership teams on corporate finance, treasury strategy, capital structure optimization, and enterprise risk oversight. He partners with organizations navigating financial complexity, transactions, or transformation, providing board-ready analysis and practical guidance across liquidity planning, financing strategy, governance, and risk management. Drawing on extensive public-company experience, Jan brings a steady, seasoned perspective to high-stakes advisory engagements.​

Prior to joining Everest, Jan held senior executive roles, including Corporate Treasurer at three public companies in different industries – natural resources, technology and retail – leading treasury, corporate finance, risk management, and investor relations initiatives. He has played key roles in numerous M&A transactions, refinancings, and ownership transitions, including private equity take-private transactions and post-acquisition integrations. As Vice President of Risk Management at Live Nation Entertainment, he directed global risk and insurance programs supporting tens of thousands of live events annually as company revenue doubled to approximately $10 billion.​

Jan holds an MBA in Finance and Strategic Planning from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, an MS in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Cornell University, and a BA in Geological Sciences from Hamilton College. He brings extensive board-level experience and is valued by directors and leadership teams for his disciplined approach to capital stewardship, risk oversight, and executive judgment.​
