Biography
David M. Zvonec is a strategic finance and analytics executive with over 16 years of leadership in FP&A, financial planning, and data-driven decision support across private equity–backed companies, multi-billion-dollar academic medical centers, technology, and service organizations. As Managing Director at Everest Advisors, he provides fractional CFO and strategic finance leadership to companies seeking to optimize financial operations and drive digital transformation.
At UCLA Health, David served as Program Manager for the UC Health IT Financial Transparency team, across five academic medical center campuses. He led the multi-year Leveraging Scale for Value program, driving over $300 million in cumulative cost avoidance and savings ($100M cumulative at UCLA Health) and successfully automating cost avoidance/savings reporting into ServiceNow. At UCLA Health, he helped IT leaders manage a $250M+ annual IT budget. His work delivered executive-level insights through predictive analytics, scenario modeling, and academic medical center peer-group benchmarking to inform institutional leadership decisions.
Previously, as Regional Director of Finance at Elements Behavioral Health, David improved EBITDA by 60% year-over-year through data-driven cost optimization, saving approximately $264K in annual EBITDA. At HealthCare Partners Medical Group, he led healthcare economics and decision support analytics across over 100 medical specialties.
David holds an MBA in Finance from Pepperdine University’s Graziadio School of Business (Beta Gamma Sigma honors) and a BA from UCLA.
