Biography
Jillian Botwin is a seasoned accounting and audit leader with more than 15 years of experience guiding organizations through complex financial reporting, risk management, and operational transformation. Known for her ability to navigate high-stakes environments with clarity and precision, she brings structure and insight to organizations facing technical accounting challenges and critical reporting demands.
As an Everest Managing Director, Jillian partners with executive teams to enhance financial reporting accuracy, strengthen internal controls, and prepare organizations for key milestones including transactions, regulatory shifts, and rapid growth. She brings a pragmatic, solutions-oriented approach, helping clients resolve complex accounting issues while building more scalable and resilient finance functions.
Prior to joining Everest, Jillian spent over a decade at KPMG, where she led large, technically complex audit engagements across entertainment, technology, aerospace, healthcare, government, and consumer industries. She managed global audit teams across the U.S. and Europe and led first-year and emerging public company audits, consistently delivering under tight SEC reporting timelines and evolving accounting environments.
In addition to her client work, Jillian played a key role in audit quality and talent development, completing a rotation with KPMG’s audit quality professional practice team, teaching national training programs, and mentoring professionals across various levels.
Known for bringing calm, clarity, and strategic perspective to complex challenges, Jillian is a trusted advisor to leadership teams operating in high-stakes environments. She holds a Master of Professional Accountancy and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln.
