Biography

Peter Moore is a seasoned financial and operations executive with over 20 years of leadership experience in the global apparel, footwear, retail, and private equity sectors. Renowned for driving transformational growth and operational excellence, he has held senior roles at iconic brands including Gap Inc., Birkenstock, PVH (Calvin Klein), La Perla, and Bolle Brands.

As Managing Director at Everest, Peter provides high-impact financial leadership, specializing in financial modeling, operational strategy, and risk management. He partners with C-suite executives and private equity stakeholders to lead meaningful transformations and help businesses achieve strategic growth.

Most recently, Peter served as Vice President and Head of Finance for Franchise, Strategic Analysis & Licensing at Gap Inc., where he led financial strategy, reporting, and long-range planning for global franchise operations spanning Gap, Old Navy, Banana Republic, and Athleta. He was instrumental in executing key agreements, including major franchise deals in China and a global licensing partnership for Gap fragrance.

Previously, as CFO/COO of Birkenstock Americas, Peter guided the company through extraordinary growth, increasing revenue from $100 million to over $600 million in five years. He oversaw finance, IT, logistics, legal, and inventory planning, implemented a new ERP system, led major 3PL expansions, and spearheaded U.S. retail store openings.

Earlier, Peter was SVP of Finance & Operations for La Perla North America and Bolle Brands, spent 15 years at PVH Corp. as SVP of Finance for Calvin Klein Underwear and Speedo USA, and started his career as a forensic accountant and auditor with KPMG Peat Marwick and then Perkin-Elmer Corp.

He holds a BS in Public Accounting, magna cum laude, from Mercy University. Peter is recognized for aligning finance and operations to deliver sustainable growth and lasting business value in complex global organizations.
